EC(Electronically Commutated) Fans and EC Motors, also known as Brushless DC Motors (BLDC) are synchronous electric motors powered by direct-current (DC) electricity and having electronic commutation systems, rather than mechanical commutators and brushes. The current-to-torque and voltage-to-speed relationships of BLDC motors are linear.

From 2010, with China motor manufacturing industry was losing its advantage in material and labor cost, PBM Motor and Fan started to offer consulting service to abroad EC motor manufacturers who expected to organize motor assembly in their own countries for EC technology input and cost down.
